I LOVE dressing my little girl.
It’s kind of surprised me, actually. Boys are simple. Pants, shirt/onesie – bam. Add a cute hat or shoes and that’s about the accessory limit. 🙂 Vests, jackets, whatever, but its pretty simple. With Jack I was incredibly blessed to have hand-me-downs from a dear friend and hardly had to buy a single thing for him up until very recently. Super nice.
Taylor has been a different story, for some reason. Girl clothes have so many options! Tutus and skirts and dresses and leggings and cutesy tops/onesies and headbands and hats and shoes and socks and and and and! Miss T was gifted some adorable togs before she was born, and I was given a really nice pile of hand-me-downs from several sources. It’s been just so much fun to figure out my “girl dressing style” with her. So I thought I’d start a new feature of what Tay is wearing/how I’m dressing her.
We’ll start with a few outfits from her smaller days…
My main formula is onesie + shirt/jacket + leggings/jeggings/tights + tutu or skirt + socks = cute girl! Add ons: shoes, booties, headbands and hats. 🙂 I love to mix and match various pieces, taking something from one outfit and putting it with a different piece. Of course, some days she just wears knit pants and a onesie, but I love dressing my baby girl up cute.
I’ll post some more outfits soon!
